Anfield has been the home of Liverpool Football Club since their founding in 1892 which means it has been home to both good and bad times.
But, Everton were actually the first team to play at the ground which is quite interesting.
Obviously since its creation, there have been numerous expansions made to the ground in order to allow more people to watch their team live.
The most recent expansion to the ground was completed in January 2024 and added a total of 7000 extra seats.
5200 of which were general admission whilst the remaining 1800 will be used with bar/hospitality facilities.

The new capacity of 61,000 is the most that the club can add under their current safety guidelines.
